We can fit ACT Carbon Fibre induction systems that combine both performance and style to make any engine bay something special. This is the system that Pete Humphries used when his old engine in the V8S eventually died and faced with fitting a simple replacement engine or fitting one that had a bit more power, there really was no choice! So we built Pete a 4.6 litre V8S engine with performance cam, special lifters and fitted stage 3 big valve heads, carbon fibre plenum from ACT and enlarged throttle body and had Mark Adams rechip the ECU. The effect was astounding: From the normal 195 bhp that the 4 litre V8S engine normally produces, the car was putting out about 280 bhp! The increase in power has turned this into probably the fastest V8S that exists today. It can comfortably reach the low 4s for a 0-60 dash and will show a clean pair of hills to most cars on the road today.
